It may be insultingly upbeat for a day like this but Fickle Friends have delivered a perfect slice of summer-pop to remind us that its not always this dour, as I float through my flooded house on a lilo (this isn’t true but I’d get maaad blogging points if it was). Fusing infectious percussion with Passion Pit levels of synthed out bliss, Fickle Friends have come out fighting with what is undoubtedly a future radio smash and maybe a future festival anthem. And now the song is over and everything is bleak again *TEARRZZZ*
